Anstice belongs to a race of humanoid rabbits called Leporids. Unlike other Leporids, however, Anstice has decided to use his speed and stealth to become Edemia’s most wanted assassin. His favourite pastime is escaping Cathleen White, the unfortunate officer assigned to catch him.

Sheriff Cathleen White is Edemia’s resident cowgirl. When she’s not busy chasing the elusive assassin Anstice, she can be found milking herself and selling bottled milk to her close friend Pank. On really bad days, she hangs out at Pank’s bar and downs a couple of happy berry shakes.

Darcy is a furry green slipper accidentally given life by the leftovers of Tian’s Curse of Sarsus. Tian makes him useful by hiring him as a sidekick and research assistant. He likes to talk, a trait that never fails to amuse Dunas, and likes to go camping in his free time.

Lord Dunas Fimsly became a hero of the Scymants after forming the first Council of Elders and defeating the evil dictator Queen Alaha. Darcy unwittingly lures him out of the past while reading a history book. Dunas is constantly fascinated by modern Edemia and will never forget the day he discovered mustard.

When the curse of laziness fell upon the ogres of Edemia, Grok was conveniently sitting in a hidden toilet. Today, he is the only functional ogre in Edemia and a skilled berry farmer. His berry farm is guarded by an elf-eating banana tree named Lloyd. He likes worms for breakfast and can only talk in the third person.

Scymants are supposed to grow longer as they age, but at 19, Morriva is the longest Scymant in history. By law, she should be an Elder of the Scymants. But the current Elders decided to send her out to learn more about the world before giving her the seat. Her studies are going well except for the occasional sneak-ups by Snef, who seems to like her scarves.

Pank runs the only bar in Edemia and is known for serving shakes with certain side effects. When she’s not mixing drinks, she works for Zeno, a jolly but mediocre scientist. She likes to think they have something special, even if most of their dates end up with her as a belly or missing a couple of limbs.

Snef comes from a race of colourful birds called the boorachoompas. He is often seen following people around and running off with their scarves. He seems to prefer scarves as colourful as he is. It’s not like he doesn’t give a fair warning, though. Snef greets all his victims with the one word he knows, “scarf.”

Tian is an ambitious treasure hunter with a strange affliction: the Curse of Sarsus. We don’t know what it does, but we do know that she got it by touching a forbidden artifact in the ancient Cave of Alaha. She is usually found poring over history books with her assistant, Darcy, or trying to get Dunas out of trouble.

Xanaphia is a skilled but dissident ranger from Sylvanos, land of the elves. She likes to think out loud and tends to get into weird scrapes, most of them involving bad berries. Her fateful mission to steal healing berries from Grok’s farm is told in the first Edemian story arc, the Berry Story.

Zeno is an eccentric scientist known for his epic lab failures. Most of his experiments end up with Pank, his assistant, girlfriend, and guinea pig, malformed in one way or the other. He is usually found trying to perfect his Nippletron 2.1.1, although he really should be working on a Bellyfication cure.
