I'm not that big on console gaming. For me, the PC has always been my platform of choice. Sure, I've owned a PS1, PS2, Gamecube... even the infamous Dreamcast, but they all failed to keep me entertained.

The one exception is my Nintendo DS.

I'll agree that most of the games on the DS are crap. But every so often there's this really awesome one that comes out. So I try to get my hands on those rare few gems I come across. Part of my collection includes both Dementium games, Moon, Atari Greatest Hits, New Super Mario Bros, Touch the Dead (Not as creepy as it sounds), and my all time DS favorite: Orcs & Elves.

Now here's my problem.

I've been trying to get my hands on Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, but this sucker is impossible to find in Canada. I've tried game stores, none have it. Ebay doesn't help and amazon.com won't ship it to Canada at all!

If anyone can help me out with this, it would be much appreciated. Where the heck can I find this game?

Thanks for the heads-up on that one!

I'll keep an eye on it. Hopefully I'll find another option where the shipping costs aren't nearly the same as the actual game.

Seriously, why does it cost 5 times more to ship to Canada from the US? =/

There is an ebay entry for it here.

Or, if you can find a used video game seller near you, some of the smaller ones will notify you once they have a game in stock you wish to purchase. I am not sure if a giant like Gamestop will do this for you or not, but a fast turnover is in their interest. Try speaking with the manager. Perhaps offering to pay a little above the usual price could be further motivation.
