Role-playing games
Posted on: Sunday August 28 2011 by Frank
Just a quick question for all you readers and fans out there. How many of you play and/or enjoy pen and paper role-playing games? You know, stuff like Dungeons & Dragons, Spirit of the Century, Dark Heresy, Mouse Guard...

I've always been a big fan of them myself. Even tried writing up a few, with mediocre success. Maybe some day I'll actually try to write an Edemia World RPG, if I think people would actually be interested.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Any interesting stories to share?

I play pretty much everything. I've played every version of D&D, but right now my #1 game is Fate.

I think an Edemia World RPG would be interesting; I don't think there's ever been a transformation RPG before...

Would "berrified" or "bellyfied" be character options? ;)

I've always traveled a lot and only ever had one circle of friends that was into D&D, but I loved it for the year or so I was able to play it. I wouldn't be able to give it any kind of a real world play test, but I might sign up for some online version.

Although my current RPG experience is limited to GMing and playing in Amber Play-by-Emails, I’ve been playing these games from the very beginning; my ninth birthday present was the first Dungeon Master's Guide. I’ve published a few games and supplements, and currently play-test for Ars Magica. So, trust me when I say, I’d LOVE to see an Edemia World RPG. If you need help/advice/encouragement, I’m there :D
